It is a simple yet profound tale of two newly wedded brides mistakenly getting swapped due to their veils. Both women have to go through comical misadventures to find themselves. Despite being initially lost and confused, both women gradually find their voices and have the confidence to assert their decisions. The story is a refreshing, humorous and heartwarming chronicle of ordinary people finding their way through extraordinary situations. In its battle against patriarchy, the film portrays that there are allies in all genders alike. Rated 8.4/10 on IMBD, it is one of highest rated movies of 2024.

Amar Singh Chamkila is a biographical film based on the life of famous Punjabi musician Amar Singh Chamkila who was active in 1970’s and 80’s. He was one of the most popular singers of his era. Chamkila and his wife Amarjot who was also his singing partner were shot dead in 1988 before a performance. His record setting songs obsessed over illicit love, alcohol, drug abuse other and realities of the rustic North. His lyrics were considered provocative and controversial but also held a mass appeal and he was a very lively performer. His performances were always sold out. Imtiaz Ali’s masterful direction takes you in to this immersive and fascinating tale of the singer’s journey. Captivating storytelling, the cast’s powerful performances, live singing of Chamkila’s most popular songs and usage of real footage of Chamkila and Amarjot’s performances makes this musical movie an entertaining watch that will hold your attention throughout.

I Want to Talk:
I want to talk is about a cancer survivor facing a life altering surgery as well as navigating a complex relationship with his daughter. Directed by Shoojit Sircar, the movie makes you slow down and reflect about mortality, your relationships with the people around you and how you want to live your life. Kill:
Kill is an action- thriller movie that was applauded for its outstanding performances of the cast, brutal and well choreographed fight scenes and an engaging storyline. The movie is based on a train robbery, in which 40 thieves board a train intending to steal people but turn bloodthirsty when they encounter a pair of hardheaded commandos. Kill has quite graphic action scenes, a fast paced narrative and well rounded characters .It is an absolute treat for action movie lovers.<br>
